Welcome to Studio 35 and The Drawing Room Gallery.

The gallery continues to show my current work and I paint daily in the studio upstairs.   Working from chosen photographs and personal images I strive for a more striking interpretation on the canvas. 

Continuing in 2009 I will be offering a series of classes and workshops in Figurative Expressionism. Weekend and weekly classes will be offered with a maximum class size of 6. Each lesson will include a teacher demo, a class exercise, handouts and individual guidance with personal photos.  

In my website Gallery works are exhibited in three categories.  Recent Works includes pieces that may develop into a series or might be considered experimental.  In Portraits the paintings were set as character studies more than narrative pieces.  The Series category features work that was intended as a series or just naturally developed into one.   Several sets of series are shown.
